Chris Brindley

Executive Producer

Chris will be returning for his 16th season with Weston Drama Workshop after serving as Executive Producer for three seasons and nine years serving as Producer. Chris is an active director, producer, and performer in the Boston area. He received his BA in Theatre Education/Acting from Emerson College and his M.S. in Arts Administration from Boston University. Selected previous directing credits include: Disney’s Newsies, West Side Story, Evita, The Wizard of Oz, Chicago, Blood Brothers, James and the Giant Peach, Les Miserables, Wiley and the Hairy Man, Children of Eden, Charlotte’s Web (Weston Drama Workshop); Animal Farm, Mamma Mia!, She Kills Monsters, Chicago, Mary Poppins, electra, Urinetown, Legally Blonde, Sideways Stories from Wayside School (State Champion), Pippin, Vieux Carre, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Diviners, Sweeney Todd, Dark of the Moon (Framingham High School Drama Company); Grease!, Rick Lomardo’s A Christmas Carol, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, West Side Story, James and the Giant Peach, The Chronicles of Jane: Book Seven (Belmont High School Performing Arts Company); Children of Eden – EMACT Nomination for Best Production (The Wellesley Players); Godspell (Emerson College). During the school year, Chris serves on the faculty of Framingham High School as a full time theatre teacher/ director and Department Head of the FHS Fine and Performing Arts Dept. Prior to his work in Framingham, Chris also worked for three years as Theatre Director of Belmont High School. He currently serves as Vice President of the Executive Council and member of the Board of Trustees for Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild. Chris would like to thank Sue Ryan for the years of guidance, support, and trust. Special thanks to the whole staff of WDW this summer for quite a “revolting” Season 57, the SA team for believing in the process every step of the way, and Aidan and Ari for being his partners in crime.
