Aidan is thrilled to be returning for his thirteenth summer on the staff. Previous directing credits at WDW include Bat Boy: The Musical, A Chorus Line, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Who’s Tommy, 42nd Street, Almost, Maine, the inaugural Staged Reading seriesFridays @ 3, Godspell, Urinetown, Cinderella, School of Rock,and last year’s Children of Eden. Aidan is the Drama Teacher and Director at Wayland High School. Previously, he had been a Drama Teacher/Director at Weston Middle School from 2002-2017. In 2016, he was the recipient of the Excellence in Education award from the Goldin Foundation. And in 2008, he received the Margot Stern Strom Teaching Award from Facing History and Ourselves. He has staged and directed over 50 plays and musicals, includingPronounPeter and the Starcatcher, All Shook Up, Disney’s Aladdin DLE (MET Award – Best Production/Stage Direction), Once On This Island, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Fiddler On The Roof, Fools, I Never Saw Another Butterfly, Barnum, The Lottery, Wonderful Town, Epic Proportions, The Wiz, Emma!, and Beauty and the Beast.He currently resides in Framingham with his remarkably amazing wife, Beth, and their three children, Dermot, Róisín, and Maeve.
