THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mark Lorence

President

Mark has been a board member since 2014 and is honored to be working with a great team of parents, alumni, and theater professionals who are committed to improving the Weston Drama Workshop experience. Mark is a musician and enjoys performing with the Boston College Symphonic Band as well as playing in the pit orchestra for his children’s shows at school and WDW. He strongly believes that arts education is important for all students and is proud to be associated with the Weston Drama Workshop family.

Sue Ryan

Vice President

Sue has been involved with Weston Drama Workshop for over a quarter of a century wearing many different hats – board president, sweeping floors, turning mirror towers, making costumes, finding props, and most proudly as the Executive Producer. After retiring from her role as executive producer, she has returned to the board to continue to be involved with an organization she loves. Sue lives in Weston with her husband, Mike, and works in customer service at the wonderful Village Bank in Newton.

Lynn Doucette-Stamm

Treasurer

Lynn joined the Board of Directors in 2015 and is thrilled to support the mission and continued growth of the WDW program. She earned her Ph.D. in Genetics and Cell Biology from the Cornell University Graduate School of Medical Sciences. As an independent consultant and strategic advisor in Clinical and Human Genetics, Lynn actively contributes to corporate initiatives, scientific organizations, and grant and manuscript review boards. In addition to her role with WDW, she serves as Treasurer and an Officer of the Board of Trustees for the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild. Lynn is excited to bring both her business and financial acumen, as well as her lifelong love of theater, to the WDW community.

Anne Isaacs

Clerk

Anne is the Drama Director at Weston High School, where she directs three productions a year and teaches a variety of performing arts classes. She holds degrees in Theater and English literature from Colgate University, and an M.A. in Theatre Education from Emerson College. An alum of the program, Anne is excited to return as a board member to help create another amazing season at WDW!

Joel Auslander

Board Member

Joel is thrilled to join the WDW board this year. Since 2023, he has been involved with WDW as the parent of an enthusiastic musical theatre performer, and he is honored to support the organization’s commitment to theatre education for young people. Joel’s love of musical theater began in high school, where he played violin in the pit orchestra for productions of Annie, Cabaret, and Brigadoon. Joel is now a physician at Newton Wellesley Hospital and an Administrator for Mass General Brigham. Though he has hung up his bow, he remains an avid theatregoer, regularly attending shows in Boston and New York —and nothing brings him more joy than watching his daughter take the stage.

Pete Curran

Board Member

Pete is a proud parent of a WDW performer, now entering her third summer with the company. Pete is a visual arts educator with Wayland Public Schools and has served on the boards of both the Massachusetts Art Education Association (MAEA) and the National Art Education Association (NAEA). He enjoys photography and design. He lives in Boston with his wife and two daughters.

Elizabeth Fidler

Board Member

Elizabeth is thrilled to join the WDW Board of Directors. She grew up performing in Weston Drama productions, as did both her parents, and now her daughter, Joanna, is a third-generation WDW actor. Elizabeth went on to study vocal performance and theater in college. In 2025, Elizabeth returned to the stage and received the EMACT DASH Award for Best Lead Actor in a Musical for the role of Agatha Trunchbull in Matilda the Musical (Metrowest Family Theater). Offstage, Elizabeth is a behavior analyst and proud mom to Marcus and Joanna. She is excited to use her professional skills to foster an inclusive environment that supports the artistic growth of all WDW participants.

Lisa Garcia-Rivera

Board Member

Lisa is honored to join the Board of Directors at WDW. She is a proud parent to three creative children, two of whom are WDW participants. She is a Designer, with Fashion Design Degrees from both Toronto and Paris, and enjoys a career that has taken her around the world. Lisa and her family love the theater and have been thrilled to become a part of the WDW Community. She is excited to bring her experience and skills to continue to grow and support the mission of Weston Drama Workshop.

Robin Hamilton

Board Member

Robin and her family have been part of the WDW Organization for the past two years and is honored to be part of this Board of Directors team! She has experience in the fine arts and non-profit management, including roles focused on event planning and development. She previously held a professional role at the Development Office with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and was a founding member of the Franklin High School Theatre Boosters, supporting the performing arts in the Franklin, MA community. She is currently active in Massachusetts higher education, where she continues to support educational and artistic growth of local theater companies. When not attending theatre productions, Robin enjoys spending time on activities outdoors with her family.

Jennifer Jagolinzer

Board Member

Jen is honored to join the WDW board. A lifelong theater arts devotee, she is drawn to WDW’s mission of producing high-caliber theatrical experiences for our community’s young actors. She lives in Wayland with her husband, Andy, and their daughter, Josie, who has performed with WDW since 2024. A dedicated leader and advocate for youth organizations, Jen has volunteered with the Wayland Girl Scouts for nine years and frequently provides hands-on support for local school performances.

Cathy Levesque

Board Member

Cathy is honored and thrilled to join the Weston Drama Workshop board. Her younger son Cameron has been involved with WDW since 2017 and every experience he has had there has been extremely special and life changing. Cathy is hoping to help give back to this program that has given her son and family so much joy and community over the years. She is a stay at home mom who volunteers at Lovelane Special Needs Horse Barn and sits on the Arts Ambassador Committee for Concord Academy.

Emily Olson

Board Member

Emily is a retired nurse practitioner by day and a devotee of ballet and theater by night! She steadfastly ruined all 4 of her children by taking them to live theater at age 3, thereby creating 3 theater mavens out of 4! 2 of them are now in theater arts themselves, getting much of their skills and supports as adolescents in WDW. One is now a professional costume designer and the other is in talent and writing. Emily has been a member of the board since 2006 when her children were participants. She continues to serve because she believes the quality of this program and the producers’ vision and philosophy contribute to our community as well as to the growth of our participants.

Jill Rosen

Board Member

Jill is honored to be a part of the Weston Drama Workshop Board. Jill has been involved with WDW since 2010 when her two children became involved, and stayed involved, through 2017.  Jill’s son, Jacob was invested in the arts both at WDW, high school and his BFA in theater. This involvement prompted Jill and her husband to become a longtime supporter of WDW, recognizing the importance of the performing arts to young people, and WDW as an opportunity for community for so many. Jill is a clinical social worker focusing on work with adolescents and parents.

Karen Saxon

Board Member

Karen is excited for her first year as a board member at WDW where her daughter has been a performer for two years. Not originally from Massachusetts, Karyn came to the Boston area to get her Master’s in Education and has been working in schools for almost 30 years where her roles have included a third grade teacher and literacy coach in Randolph and Humanities Curriculum Director in Wayland. She is currently in her first year as Humanities Coordinator for the Lincoln Public Schools.
