Theaterical Internships (Entering Grade 11-College)

Weston Drama Workshop will offer several unpaid internships for the Summer 2017 Season to high school juniors, seniors, and college students.  New applicants, as well as last year’s interns, are welcome to apply. These will be selected based on the application and interview process.

Applicants will be contacted by a member of the Producing Team to schedule an interview after all applications are reviewed. This is an unpaid internship in one of the following areas: 

Theatre Administration, Stage Management, Choreography, Marketing, Directing, Costumes, Scenic, Lighting, Sound, Props, Scenic Painting.

Each Intern will:

  • Have an assigned mentor on the staff who would assign him or her specific tasks and duties.
  • Work with their mentor and the producing team to arrange their individualized schedule and curriculum.
  • Attend all production meetings.
  • Have a Crew Assignment — In addition to your area of focus, you will be a part of the crew for a different production, and attend all technical rehearsals and performances for that show over the last two weeks.
  • Help to run the show/box office/front of house during performances.
