Abby Ray is a rising sophomore at Salem State University pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre with a concentration in stage management. Recent credits include costume run crew (The Drowsy Chaperone), stage manager (Beyond Rainbows), assistant stage manager (35 MM), scenic build crew (The Drowsy Chaperone, Clybourne Park, The Seagull, The Master and Margarita).
Anika Reichelt is a rising junior at Wayland High School hoping to eventually stop studying physics and calc. She is returning for her sixth year at WDW, tallying a total of nine shows and one apprenticeship and she’s tired just writing this. After three years as a participant in the afternoon program, she couldn’t be more excited to work with the new generation of afternoon kids.
Brianna LaValle is a rising senior at Weston High School and has been an active member in the Weston High School Theater Company since she was a freshman. She has acted in several shows and has been in charge of costume design for the past year. Aside from theater, Brianna plays flute and piccolo and is in a co-ed a cappella group. Brianna is very excited to have her first experience with stage management this summer with School of Rock.
Harper Stein is a rising junior at Newton North High School, where she is a member of Theatre Ink’s costume department. Harper discovered costuming when she entered high school, and instantly loved it. If not asleep or in class, you would likely find her in the costume shop. In the past two years, Harper costume designed Sondheim’s Assassins, as well as Theatre Ink’s Ninth Annual Playwrights’ Festival, and was on costume crew for seven other productions. She is absolutely ecstatic to be joining the Weston Drama Workshop team this summer!
Isabelle Gloria is a rising junior at Newton South High School. This is her first summer with Weston Drama Workshop. Previous productions include RENT, Urinetown, Batboy, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, and Big Love. She would like to thank her family, for supporting her through this endeavor, her friends, for enduring her constant talk about this program, and Aidan O’Hara and Chris Brindley for this incredible opportunity. Jamey Miller is a rising sophomore at Boston University studying Film and Television with a minor in Arts Leadership. Before he was a student at BU, Jamey was the President of the Framingham High School Drama Company, where he worked on productions such as Sideways Stories from Wayside School and Pippin. Jamey’s recent theatrical endeavors have been with BU On Broadway. This past year, he played Emmett in Legally Blonde and Jamie in The Last Five Years. Jamey is ecstatic to be spending this summer working on his first season with WDW!
Jessie is a rising junior at Framingham High School, and is thrilled to be returning for her second season at WDW. Her previous technical credits include set construction for Framingham’s productions of Urinetown, Legally Blonde, and Sideways Stories from Wayside School. Her previous performance credits include Evita, electra, Urinetown, and The Little Prince. She cannot thank her friends, family, Chris, and the rest of her school drama department enough for their continuous support!
John H. Llewellyn is a rising sophomore at UMass Amherst pursuing dual degrees in Theatre and English. After being in Pippin last summer, he is excited to return to WDW and learn about directing. He is actively involved in the UMass Theater Guild. He has a passion for acting and dramaturgy as well as directing, which he has been exploring through the UMass Amherst Department of Theatre. Jonathan is a rising Senior at Newton North High School, and he is proud to say that he is returning for his sixth consecutive season at WDW. After having an incredibly meaningful experience working last summer as a directing intern for WDW’s afternoon intensive program, Jonathan is thrilled to be assisting in the direction of this summer’s morning show, School of Rock. Jonathan has always wanted to be involved in performing, favorite credits include “Macbeth” (Macbeth), “Brighton Beach Memoirs” (Jack) and “Assassins” (John Wilkes Booth) at Newton North High School, and “Evita” (Juan Peron) and “Godspell” (Judas) at Weston Drama Workshop. He would like to thank Skylar for being an inspiring mentor, Chris & Aidan for giving him such amazing opportunities, and his family for their unending support.
Maegan Allen is thrilled to be in her first production with Weston Drama Workshop! She is a rising sophomore at Middlesex Community College, studying Marketing and Technical Theatre Arts. Previously, Maegan has worked as an ASM for Little Women (Stoneham Young Company), in set construction for Little Shop of Horrors (Middlesex Community College), and as props assistant/dog handler for Legally Blonde (Lexington Youth Summer Theatre). When not working on a show, Maegan coaches for a local swim team and competes as a nationally-ranked race walker.
Marielle Sciore is a rising junior at Framingham State University. She is so excited to be returning to Weston Drama Workshop as an intern this summer! She recently finished directing Beauty and the Beast at FSU. Last summer she was a participant and was an ensemble member in Pippin directed by Brian Kelly. Marielle has been heavily involved with theatre for most of her life and is so excited to see what this summer holds!
Nathan Persampieri is a rising Junior at Newton North High School, where he just made hismusical debut as the rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof! He is excited to be the team of WDW as a marketing intern. He has a broad rage of skills, ranging from page layout in InDesign to photo retouching in Photoshop. He also designed the website for Froshcab in the fall. Nathan also likes to travel and make travel videos.
This will be Tori Riley’s first season with Weston Drama Workshop and she couldn’t be more excited! She’s starting with Weston as a member of the internship program to learn more about tech! She has been in multiple musicals such as Framingham High School’s Pippin and Legally Blonde. She was recently a silly girl in Framingham State University’s Production of Beauty and the Beast! She was also a Stage Manager for Framingham State University’s Production of Our Town last fall! She is super excited for what’s to come!
