Spelling Bee

Are you a past champion speller? Did you take home the prize trophy at your school?

Or are you a thwarted champion? You knew how to spell “H-E-A-R-T-B-R-O-K-E-N,” you were just distracted by Molly Heinzpeter’s weird headband.

Well, your day of redemption is at hand!

Volunteer to be part of the cast, an on stage speller, when you come to The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!

Here’s what to do:

1. Arrive at the Welch Theatre at Regis College 30 minutes prior to showtime

2. Visit the Spelling Bee sign up booth in the lobby, near the box office

3. Fill out the volunteer speller card and give to one of our “speller wrangler”s at the table

4. Report back to the table at 10 minutes prior to showtime. If you have been selected from all of the volunteers who filled out cards, you’ll be whisked away for a quick orientation, and then sent to your ticketed seat for the start of the show

5. Spell your little heart out on stage. After that, well, we make no guarantees — other than, along with the rest of the audience, you’re going to have a fantastic time!
